Erin Masters

I have been performing and teaching circus since the early 2000’s.

My areas of focus are fire twirling, adagio, pyramids, juggling and object manipulation. I love that I get to work with such incredible and creative people through my work in the circus. Circus WOW is a special place and I feel privileged to be part of it. I performed in WOW’s first ever show, What’s her Story?. In 2003, I went to Tassy with a whole bunch of WOW women for the Tasmanian Circus Festival. In 2006, I walked the streets of Sydney’s CBD with WOW in Foreplay, the introduction to the Mardi Gras parade, amongst other exciting performances and opportunities.

Some of my favourite acts were Shelter, an adagio duo with Jane Davis, performed in several different shows including the Tasmanian Festival and the Bubbles Ball breast cancer fundraiser, and Pendulum, a group adagio act performed at both Project Contemporary Artspace and Wollongong Art Gallery. Some favourite characters I created were Trukker, who I performed with Jules McConnel, as Wazza, and Wally One, who I performed with Jane Davis as Miss Priss.
