By enrolling into a course you accept the terms and conditions outlined below. This includes enrolments made by phone, email, in person or through an online booking system. It is the responsibility of the consumer to ensure they understand the terms and conditions of a purchase prior to making it. Please choose your classes carefully, and ensure you have read and understood these terms and conditions prior to making payment.
Always work at your own level. Please check with any relevant health professionals before starting class. Advise and remind your trainers of any injuries or issues, includes fatigue. Make sure to complete a medical form at least once a year, for pre-existing conditions make sure an emergency action plan is known by your trainer. Drugs and alcohol must not be consumed prior or during training.
If you have any concerns with the Circus WOW equipment please alert the trainer.
Booking and payment
Annual membership of $10 is required for all weekly classes, except tryout.
Please let us know if you miss more than one class. Enrolments for a course are secured by full payment prior to end of the first week of the course or class. Spaces in a class are not secure until payment is made.
Please note, if there are exceptional circumstances and you have issues with making full payments then please email our training co-ordinator to set a payment plan.
All bookings are made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our classes are designed for adult women. Most of our trainers are women, however from time-to-time, we may engage male trainers for their specialised skilll/knowledge.
In exceptional circumstances daughters may be able to attend classes accompanied by their female parent. This will need to be agreed upfront by the trainer, training coordinator and other class participants.
If you are enrolled in multiple classes, a 10% discount is applied to your invoice. A family discount of 10% is also available.
Refunds and cancellations
A call as to whether a term based class will run or not will be made no later than the day after the first class of term. Classes run to strict minimum and maximum numbers. In the event a course does not meet the minimum number of enrolments to run, Circus WOW reserves the right to cancel that course. In this instance, you will be offered one of the following:
- A place in a comparable course at a comparable time
- To participate in the advertised course with an altered format
- To defer your fees for a future comparable course
- To have your fees returned to you
Because our classes run to strict minimums and maximums, fees paid in advance are required to determine if the class will run or be cancelled. Likewise, paid enrolments secure places otherwise desired by those who missed out because the class was full.
Refunds are generally not possible, however:
- If there are exceptional or emergency circumstances it may be possible to apply for a transfer voucher to another activity (limited to the following term);
- If your circumstances change so you miss a class for more general reasons you can contact the training co-ordinator to see about make-up options.
- Notification of intent to withdraw must be made in writing to circus email@example.com
- Deferral credits, where offered in accordance with the complete terms and conditions, are for use in a nominated period only. Deferral credits cannot be deferred or refunded.
Depending on availability some classes will be suitable for you to make-up a missing class. Email the training Co-ordaintor for more details.
Students are required to attend the class in which they are enrolled. Students are not permitted to attend classes in which they are not enrolled to make up for a missed class.
Circus WOW reserves the right to substitute an instructor where the advertised instructor is not available to teach.
Casual and Tryout
Casual and tryout places in most classes are limited and generally need to be approved by the Training Coordinator.
Open training is available to students who are enrolled in a full term class at Circus WOW. Aerials students who wish to attend open training must have completed at least half a term of Aerials classes before participating in aerials at open training.
Students are advised to wear appropriate training clothing for their class. Students are asked not to wear shoes on the mats or aerial equipment. It is advised not to wear jewellery, belts, buckles or other hard materials when attending classes.
Instructors have the right to decline entry to late or disruptive students. If a student is late, disruptive or fails to follow the Trainers directions they may be asked to leave the Class. No refunds or credits are paid in these circumstances.
Students must participate in the class warm up which is conducted in class prior to using the aerial equipment. No student is to touch or change any of the aerial or rigging equipment in the training space.
Students should be aware of their own strength and abilities, and never push themselves if injured. If a student is unsure of any skills, they are to always take the option they feel most comfortable with once they have discussed their concerns with their instructor.
